This Privacy Policy explains how Version SEO (“Version”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses and protects personal information when you visit version.so, download our resources, book a call or buy our services, including AuthentiRank. If you have questions, email hello@version.so.
Information we collect
- Information you give us. Your name, work email, company, website, phone number and any message you send through our forms, playbook downloads, audit requests or call bookings.
- Payment information. When you buy a service, payment is handled by our payment processor (Square). We receive confirmation of the payment and your billing contact details, but we do not store full card numbers.
- Call and email records. If you speak with our team by phone or email, we may keep notes, call recordings where the law allows and you are told at the start of the call, and the content of your messages.
- Usage information. Pages visited, links clicked, device and browser type, approximate location from your IP address, and how you reached our site. We collect this with cookies and similar tools.
- Business information from other sources. We may add publicly available business details, such as company name, role or business phone number, from data providers and public sources to information you have already given us.
How we use your information
- To send the resources you request, such as the AI SEO Playbook.
- To reply to enquiries, run free audits and AI visibility calls, and provide the services you buy.
- To follow up about your request by email or phone, including a short series of emails after a download and an occasional newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To process payments, keep business records and meet legal obligations.
- To measure and improve our website and advertising.
- To protect our site from spam, fraud and abuse.

We use cookies and similar technologies for site functions, analytics (Google Analytics) and advertising measurement (Meta Pixel). How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business, such as website hosting, form and email delivery (including Google Workspace), call scheduling (Cal.com), phone systems, CRM and analytics tools, and payment processing (Square). They may use your information only to provide services to us.
- Advertising and analytics partners such as Google and Meta, through the tracking tools described above.
- Authorities or other parties when required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
How long we keep information
We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above. That usually means for as long as you are a subscriber, prospect or client, plus the period required for tax, accounting and legal records. When we no longer need it, we delete or anonymise it.
Your choices and rights
- Emails. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us to stop all marketing contact.
- Calls. Tell us at any time that you do not want to be called and we will stop.
- Access, correction and deletion. Depending on where you live, including the EU, UK and California, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict certain uses, and to withdraw consent. To make a request, email hello@version.so. We will not treat you differently for using these rights.
International transfers
We and our service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
