These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of version.so and the services offered by Version SEO (“Version”, “we”, “us”), including SEO, AI search optimisation and AuthentiRank. By using the site or buying a service, you agree to these Terms. If you sign a separate written agreement or order with us, that agreement takes priority where it differs from these Terms.
Using our website
You may use the site for lawful business purposes. You agree not to misuse it, including by trying to access it without permission, interfering with how it works, scraping it at scale, or submitting false or spam information through our forms.
Free resources and calls
Our playbooks, guides, audits and calls are provided for general information. They are not a guarantee of any result, and you are responsible for how you use them in your business. Free resources are for your own internal use and may not be resold or republished without our permission.
Services
The scope, price and deliverables for each paid service are set out on the relevant service page, order page or proposal at the time you buy. We will perform services with reasonable skill and care. Search engines and AI platforms control their own rankings and answers and change them without notice. Unless a specific guarantee is stated in writing for the service you buy, we do not guarantee any particular ranking, traffic, citation or revenue outcome.
AuthentiRank guarantee
Where AuthentiRank is sold with a ranking guarantee, the guarantee applies only on the terms shown on the order page or in your order confirmation at the time of purchase, including the keyword, page, timeframe and what happens if the target is not reached.
Payments
Prices are shown in US dollars unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by our payment provider (Square). Recurring services are billed at the interval shown when you buy until you cancel. You can cancel a recurring service by emailing hello@version.so before the next billing date. Fees for work already performed are not refundable, except where a written guarantee or the law says otherwise.
Your responsibilities
You confirm that you have the right to the websites, content and accounts you ask us to work on, and that the information you give us is accurate. You are responsible for giving us the access we reasonably need, and for keeping your own backups of your website and data.
Intellectual property
The site, our content, playbooks, templates and methods belong to Version or our licensors. Deliverables created specifically for you become yours once paid in full, except for our pre-existing tools, templates and know-how, which we keep and may reuse.
Third-party links and platforms
The site and our services may link to or rely on third-party sites and platforms, such as search engines, AI assistants, publishers and payment providers. We are not responsible for their content, policies or changes.
Disclaimers
The site and free resources are provided “as is”. To the extent allowed by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Version is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, revenue or data. Our total liability for any claim relating to a service is limited to the amount you paid us for that service in the three months before the claim arose.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last changed. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the updated Terms.
